The farm “La Frassina” was established in 1940 following the reclamation works of a part of the Caorle inner lagoon, initiated by our grandfather Mario Pasti and completed by our father Francesco. Located on the edge of the natural oasis of Valle Vecchia, “La Frassina” is a charming place where human efforts and nature harmoniously coexist. Our passion and respect for nature make us faithful guardians of this land. “La Frassina” stands out for its focus on quality and sustainability.
Since 2005, brothers Lucia and Carlo, joined in 2022 by Carlo’s son Filippo, have been producing wines under “La Frassina” label, highlighting a long grape growing tradition and a unique terroir. These wines reflect the salinity of the nearby lagoon.
Enchanted by their beauty, Ernest Hemingway, during his hunting trips in 1948, was so captivated by these places that he wrote about them in his novel “Across the River and Into the Trees.”
We offer an original experience in an oasis of peace, where wine becomes the thread connecting us to our history and a territory rich in emotions.
